Tooth whitening is a chemical process, using bleaching agents carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide, that helps to remove both surface and deep stains that occur on your teeth from tea, coffee, tobacco, alcohol and certain foods.
Here at Belvedere Dental Care, we offer a home tooth whitening kit to enhance your smile. This initially involves impressions being taken of your mouth so that personalised, custom-made bleaching trays can be fabricated. These trays are then fitted with a detailed demonstration on how to apply the whitening gel at home. Gradually over approximately 2-3 weeks you will notice your teeth starting to whiten. Once you have achieved the colour you want, you can just top up whenever you like.
